Which grant is right for me?

For children

  • Child Support — the primary caregiver is on a low income.
  • Foster Child — a children's court placed the child with you.
  • Care Dependency — the child has a severe disability needing full-time care.

For adults

  • SRD R370 — 18–59, unemployed, no other income.
  • Disability — 18–59, medically unable to earn.
  • Older Persons — 60 and above.
  • Grant-in-Aid — you already receive a grant but need full-time care.
