Recently we met with Christoffel Hazenwinkel aka #FabulousHaas – a different kind of Easter bunny. While his home of Hazendal Wine Estate undergoes renovations in Stellenbosch, the rabbit has come out to the big city. And we thought we’d introduce the big city to Christoffel by taking him out to the graffiti-clad Cape Town streets.
With a lifestyle range consisting of a white, rosé and red blend, the concept pays homage to the original owner (who goes by the fair hare’s name) and aims to take the seriousness out of the wine world and have some fun. Now that’s our kind of wine! To boot, the labels just won gold at the Wine Design Label Awards 2017. Cause when was the last time you saw a velvet-clad rabbit on your vino?
